Sudipta, helped me do strength training exercises, which helped me build muscles, and I could do the exercises better, she made weight loss easy with Zumba, a dance work out which kept the energy going. She is a very hard working trainer and is disciplined in the routines she sets for me, each time there is a new level to achieve a new target, her exercises made me feel my muscles moving and my limbs vibrating.
Why I decided to Transform my body
With 106 kgs, everything was becoming difficult, from breathing to doing normal chores. My hubby did his bariatric surgery and was looking really fit and stunning; I decided it was time for a change.
How I Accomplished My Goals (How I lost 31 kgs weight)
I did Zumba 3 days a week with Sudipta and 2 days did strength training with Sudipta. I also did yoga 3 days a week in the evening with Gauri Shelar who is my physiotherapist.

What Aspect Challenged Me The Most during transformation
I am a diehard chocoholic, love junk food, I used to eat out atleast twice a week, choosing healthy options, making soup my best friend, and having dates and raisins to curb my taste buds for sweet. I would love thumbs up, have completely given that up and adopted detox water, fresh lime water etc.
How I feel or what I achieved after transformation
After being 31 kgs lighter, I can run, I can swim better, my breathing has become better and I do not feel drained, I eat well, I don’t get irritated which I would often be, I guess when I am satisfied with myself, all the small things that did annoy me amuse me now, my relationship with my partner has improved to a great extent, physically and emotionally, my equation with my teenaged daughter is also improving as she says I am becoming more calmer. On the physical front, I can now wear fitted clothes, branded ones and I get my size at normal stores and don’t have to go to pus sized stores.
I Am going to take part in a marathon shortly which is a very big dream of mine. I make heads turn at 40 for my transformation and have loads of people stopping to applaud me and seek my advice on weight loss.
My Future Plans
I intend to keep up with the strengthening exercises with Sudipta for 3 days a week. I would like to go for Zumba 2 days a week as it is the best stress buster and a dance workout with so many others is a total fun work out making fitness an exciting activity. Also, I would continue with Gauri for yoga, free hand and leg exercises 3 times a week.
Suggestions For Aspiring Transformers
Please find good trainers, as mine are, if they are passionate about their work, they will make sure their work talks on your body and make you achieve a good and healthy body. Second food is the major factor for weight loss, please eat sensibly, Sudipta makes it a point to share pointers in the form of health messages, pic messages on whats app. Drinking water, barley water, detox water or infused water almost 2 to 3 litres a day does helps in weight loss. Also to please adapt a form of fitness closer to home and one that we look forward to, and not like a regular gym, where in we have to force ourselves to get up and go. When fitness is a fun journey, the kilos to shed is an easy job. Good luck.
